Today the orange Democratic movement party leader Raila Odinga and his Azimio la umoja bandwagon were in Murang’a county where he wenye to drum up support for his presidency and the country’s unity.
But before the start of the event and leaders start talking, people were recorded leaving the ihura stadium in Murang’a in abundance.
Several people especially the opponents of the azimio team took to their social media platforms to claim that people were tired of the Raila but a real reason has been revealed by Wahome Thuku.
Taking to his Facebook page, the city lawyer has said that the security team at the event was superb and that it was a good move with terror attacks and threats that are in the country.
“Good day, Murang’a, good arrangements and good security measures. And this is serious with terror alert no one should take chances,” he wrote.
He said that the people who attended the rally had to be asked to leave the ground for the purpose scrutinization by the police in a bid to ensure the event was safe. He added that whether it’s UDA or Azimio nobody should take it lightly.
At one point in Murang’a,the attendees were asked to leave the stadium so that the police could do their scrutiny and ensure the ground is safe. That should not be taken lightly whether by azimio or UDA rally organizers,” he wrote.
He adds that the people were hence recorded leaving the stadium and they were then allowed back into the event. Maintaining that it should happen in every rally or event.
“So yes, the people had to leave the stadium before being allowed back. That is how they were recorded leaving. This should happen everywhere every time,” he said.
His statement comes at such a time Raila’s opponents have used the video to tarnish his name saying that the people were tired of him at the mountains.
