Barely hours after several people were killed in cold blood in Lamu County, another sad development has hit the airwaves after this morning.
According to news just in, four police officers have been killed during a deadly morning raid by suspected Alshabab Militias.
This worrying development comes barely hours after the interior cabinet secretary doctor Fred Matiang’i imposed a dawn to dusk curfew in the area.
Lately, Lamu County has become a hot bed of Alshabab attacks with two people reportedly abducted by these rogue Militias.
A huge contingent of police officers has been deployed to the area to try and quell the situation that has clearly gotten out of hand.
Nevertheless kenyan Commandos have managed to arrest 11 people in relation to the worrying Lamu attacks.
The 11 will be arraigned in court to answer to terrorism related charges.
In the past kenyan defense forces have managed to flush out these killer Militias from their hide outs in Boni forest
