Orange Democratic Movement party boss Raila Odinga who is eying the presidency for the fifth time, is now set to begin his campaigns under the new Movement Azimio La Umoja. This follows the establishment of his campaigns management board.
According to reliable sources, the board will be headed by Laikipia governor Nderitu Muriithi as the chairman, secretary of the board will be Elizabeth Ameyo.
The appointment comes as Jubilee and ODM continue partnering and forging ways of working together ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
Many parties will come together to form the Azimio La Umoja coalition which is expected to be Raila’s vehicle in the forthcoming general elections, Raila’s Presidential bid has been boosted by the support he currently enjoys, among those who have joined Raila’s camp are the majority of mount Kenya region governors and the mount Kenya foundation a group of businessmen from central part of the country.
Raila’s campaigns are expected to be different from the past ones considering that he has the backing of a section of leaders from the mount Kenya region.
