Popular TV3 news anchor, Alfred Ocansey, has slammed the Finance Minister and Information Minister for their recent display of incompetence. Speaking on TV3’s New Day, Alfred Ocansey explained that his observation of Ghanaian’s knowledge about the e-levy heightened the need for him to do a touch screen analysis so as to inform and educate the Ghanaians about the impact of e-levy. According to him, the decision by the Finance Minister to explain e-levy in percentage terms is not enough for ordinary Ghanaians to understand the impact on them.
Johnnie Hughes explained the need for Dr. Bawumia to also hold a lecture on the E-levy. The famous news anchor, Alfred Ocansey excellently mounted the platform and presented a bold touch screen analysis. He started his calculation of the initial 1.75% rate proposal with some assumptions.
1. Service Providers have reduced their charges by 0.25% per the announcement of the finance minister
