The Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) activist, Samuel Owusu Afriyie said, the taxes that goes to Individuals are more than what the government receives.
According to Samuel Owusu Afriyie, the commercial drivers at the station always pay their taxes to the station master but the money never get to the government.
Samuel Owusu Afriyie said, commercial drivers are always paying their taxes and yet still, if it rains, the station will be in poor state so he asked the host of the program that, where does the taxes from commercial drivers go?
Samuel Owusu Afriyie alleged that, the taxes from the commercial drivers goes to the pocket of the station master because he claims his land was use as the station for vehicles to transact business.
This is the reason why Samuel Owusu Afriyie is saying, taxes that goes to Individuals are more than what the government receives.
