Good afternoon to you all my readers. Today is a wonderful day and we thank God for the gift of our lives.
We are all aware of the recent issue that is happening in our country, Ghana and it is no other issue than the tax on electronic transactions, popularly called as E- levy.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) government believes the tax on electronic transactions (E- levy) can earn a huge revenue for our country, Ghana to develop but my problem is, will the Ghanaians continue to withdraw and deposit money into their mobile money account whiles they are already complaining of the 1.75% rate?
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) government was earning a huge revenue on road tolls but most of the roads in Ghana are badly damaged so since the road tolls have been abolished and tax on electronic transactions have been introduced, can the tax on electronic transactions (E- levy) do what the road tolls could not do?
