The managing editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt, surprisingly admitted on live TV that he agrees with the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. More often than not, veteran journalist, Kwesi Pratt, is spotted criticizing and lambasting the Vice President. Thus, this came as a surprise to viewers. This came about while reacting to the strong position of the ruling government to ensure the passage of the e-levy bill in parliament.
“Five years ago, the NPP said that anybody who wants to implement e-levy is a criminal and has an interest in committing a crime against the poor. Let them explain what has changed. Bawumia was right five years ago. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia was completely right five years ago when he said e-levy was a crime. I agree with him”, Kwesi Pratt explained.
