Mr. Kwame Asafo Agyei, the member of parliament for Nsuta Kwamang constituency, has expressed his views on the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries.
Member of Parliament (MP) for the that Trade Minister Alan Kyeremateng will in the primaries to become the next flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2024 general elections.
According to Mr. Asafo Agyei, per data available, “Alan Kyeremanten is highly favored to win election 2024 according to a recent nationwide poll; He managed to secure 50 percent of votes from the participants of this poll whilst the Vice President managed 20 percent. If we want to win a general election then we need to present Alan as our Flagbearer for election 2024 but if we want just a flagbearer then we should nominate the Vice President”.
Speaking in an interview on an Accra-based radio station, Mr. Asafo Agyei suggested that, Mr John Alan Kyeremateng is in good position to win the internal polls at the NPP primaries..
In related a story, Honorable Frank Annoh-Dompreh- the Majority Chief Whip in parliament , has suggested, that a Dr. Bawumia/Alan Kyeremateng partnership ahead of the 2024 presidential elections, will the sure bet for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to ‘break the 8’.
