The Ghana Education Service (GES) has revealed its plans to work on the promotions of lower rank teachers for the 2022/2023 academic year.
Per the conditions attached to GES promotions of its employees, teachers with senior superintendent II (SS-II) and the senior superintendent I (SS-I) are considered to be the lower ranked staff who need to be promoted if and only if they meet the requirements below.
What is the New Policy of GES Promotions of Lower Ranks Staff?
According to the GES new policy of lower rank promotions, after the promotion supervision or interview, names of successful applicants are forwarded to Accra, GES Headquarters.
Requirements for GES Promotion of Lower Ranks Staff – 2022/2023
i. Be on the rank of Senior Superintendent II (SS II) or Senior Superintendent I (SS I)
ii. Have served for a period of at least 4-years or more
iii. Have exhibited good attitude towards the GES work ethics and many others.
When will GES Promote the Lower Rank Staff (SS II and SS I) in 2022/2023?
The GES will at any moment from now, promote qualified teachers who were supervised by their district officers.The GES is currently done with the promotion of senior ranks with the lower rank promotion on awaiting.
