Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly called A Plus has been one of Ghana’s versatile socio-political commentators on Facebook. Since he fell out with the ruling New Patriotic Party, the musician turned blogger has been making some wild comments and winning the appeal of many Ghanaians. He has eventually become the darling boy for many oppressed and victimized persons.
In a post on Facebook today, Thursday, January 20, 2022, A Plus has hinted of an impending visit he is to make to the Criminal Investigation Department Headquarters. According to A Plus he received a call yesterday requesting his presence to help in an investigation. The investigation has to do with allegations brought up by one Hassan who has reported A Plus to the Police for defamation (calling him a criminal).
A Plus explained that he would not have posted this on social media but because he knows how the invitee, Dr. Yankson is he had to post. A Plus noted that he knows how Dr. Yankson operates and can end up inviting bloggers to the headquarters to cook up stories of arresting A Plus. A Plus thus sought to clarify matters so the public isn’t deceived.
