Sammy Gyamfi has joyously reacted to a supreme court ruling that disallowed mandatory vaccination against covid- 19 in the United States.
According to the NDC National Communications Officer, the ruling was the best thing he has heard so far this year. He wrote on his Facebook page, ” Biden’ s worksplace covid- 19 vaccine or test mandate which would have affected 84 million workers has been blocked by the supreme court of the US. This is the best news I have heard this year” .
Sammy Gyamfi was first elated on Tuesday when a team of medical doctors petitioned the president to halt the mandatory vaccination. The doctors quoted research findings in the US and UK which suggested that persons who were vaccinated were dying more than the non vaccinated people.
According to the research, up to 79% of covid- 19 related deaths in 2021 came from the vaccinated population. They believe Ghana’ s death toll was increasing because of the increasing number of vaccinated people.
According to the doctors who call themselves concerned doctors, it was better Ghanaians go back to their roots and eat local dishes to boast their immunity instead of the vaccination.
Upon hearing about this petition, Sammy took to his Facebook page to ask his critics what they have to say.
” What will my critics say about this? ” , he asked.
Sammy Gyamfi is one person who is strongly against the mandatory vaccination policy being rolled out across the country.
He has dragged the Athorney General, the ministry of health and Ghana Health Service to the supreme court for this policy which he described as unconstitutional. He argues that there is no legal basis for mandatory vaccination. He said the exercise was against the fundamental human rights as well as the UN treathy on undergoing medical procedure. Sammy added that there were credible researches which proof that the vaccine was not safe.
He believes the supreme court of Ghana will take a clue from the supreme court of US in deciding on the petition.
