The cases of married men and women killing family members whenever love goes sour are alarming. Domestic violence is any kind of behaviour that a person uses, or threatens to use, to control an intimate partner.
According to the news making the rounds on social media, a man from Kenya has beat his wife to death and set their house with their three children inside on fire after he caught his wife cheating. The man who confessed to the act said he had been told several times that his wife brings another man into his house whenever he goes to work.
The man told police he lied to her that he was traveling only to bring her a man into his house to have a good time together with his lover in his bed. He said that, out of anger, he set his wife and his three children ablaze.
Domestic violence, however, has no place in a healthy relationship, whether the couple is dating, cohabiting, engaged, or married. If you know you won’t be faithful in a marriage or relationship, stay single and avoid causing pain to others.As for me, I think this man should be pardoned and rehabilitated into society.
