If I Were Bawumia’s Advisor, I Will Advise Him To Quit This Presidential Race – Kwesi Pratt

The Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Junior, has indicated that if he were an advisor to Vice-president Dr. Mahamud Bawumia, the first advice he will give him is to quit the NPP’s presidential race and rethink his future.

Kwesi Pratt made this statement on ‘ALHAJI & ALHAJI’ on Pan Africa television this morning, 15th January 2022, when he gave his opinion on the presidential race of the NPP.

According to Kwesi Pratt, somebody must spend some effort to rescue the image of the Vice-president, Dr. Mahamud Bawumia.

“Somebody who loves the Vice-president must get closer and advice hime to save himself the embarrassment. Look, forget about those who sits on radios and TV’s and comment on the national situation. Walk into the streets and engage the gardeners and the watchmen, and raise the name of the Vice-president. Do you hear what they say about him? If he was my brother, I will be pained.”

Kwesi Pratt indicated that he is pained because Dr. Mahamud Bawumia is his Vice-president, and he thinks that he must be saved from himself because where his image is getting to, it’s worrying. “Somebody must advice him. Somebody must help him because what is happening to the Vice-president shouldn’t be happening to anybody even if he himself is the major contributor to that development.”

Kwesi Pratt revealed that some of the things that are being said about Dr. Mahamud Bawumia, he cannot repeat them on air because some of the things that are being said about him are horrible.

He said that even if Dr. Mahamud Bawumia’s supporters manage to make him the presidential candidate for the NPP, how will he manage to go out there to campaign, given the things he told us?

“If I were his advisor, Sena, I’m not his advisor, maybe I will never be his advisor or maybe if I were his advisor, he will not listen to me, but if I were his advisor, the first advice I will give to him is that; quit this race, it’s not in your interest. Quit the race, go back home and rethink about your future.”

Kwesi Pratt added that Dr. Mahamud Bawumia should quit the race for the NPP’s presidential candidate, and maybe in the next eight years, the party will come to him and beg for him to come and lead them, but for now, he should pull back because the avalanche is too strong for him.
