The member of Parliament for Assin South Constituency, John Ntim Fordjour who doubles as the deputy minister of Education has come out to clear waves on some ongoing rumours about the abolishment of the double tracm system at the SHS level.
According to the honorable minister, these claims are false and he wants to make it clear that the double track in the senior high school level is still there. He however made it clear that, the tracking system which includes the Gold and Green Tracks at the SHS has been abolished.Â
According to him, there is nothing like Gold or Green tracks in our senior high schools again.
“Double Track System has not been abolished as purported by some news portals. What has been eliminated is the Gold/Green double entry of Form 1&2 students” he wrote.
He therefore urged Ghanaians to disregard the screenshots of stories in circulation attributed to him that double track has been abolished.
He made this revelation today on his official Facebook page.
John Ntim believes that, the media misunderstood what he said the last time concerning the double track system.
