The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations is getting interesting as some teams keep surprising their fans. Black Stars of Ghana played their first game a week ago and the team was defeated by Morocoo by a goal to zero. Black Stars will again face Gabon in the group stage qualifiers of the competition.
Black Stars of Ghana have met Gabon twice in the Africa Cup of Nations. The two teams have played some friendly games together and the very last one was in 2011. At the end of the game, Black Stars won with a goal difference.
However, in 1989, the two teams met in the Africa Cup of Nations. The match was played in April, 1989. At the end of the game, Black won with a goal difference (1-0).
Since then, these two teams have not met in the Africa Cup of Nations until now. The two teams will face each other again in the AFCON. The match will be played in Cameroon at exactly 7pm at Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium.
Ghana needs a win in order to secure them a good place in the league table. It will be a very interesting game to watch. Gabon won their very first game and the team currently has three points in the league table. Black Stars team has zero point.
