In Ghana, it is mostly young men who work as conductors in commercial vehicles. However, you may come across one or two young ladies who work as ‘trotro’ bus conductors on occasion. This is due to the fact that a bus conductor’s job does not pay well. As a result, most Ghanaians were shocked when they saw this beautiful white lady doing such a job.
Watching the video carefully, you can see this white lady in her normal dress shouting on the street, “Accra!! Accra!!, UTC!!!”. A young standing on the side of the street said that “This is strange because I’ve never seen anything like that before. I am recording her and put it on social media for young men in Ghana to watch. In fact, there is no food for a lazy man”.
Some Ghanaians on social media after coming across this video said that they don’t believe that she is actually working as a ‘trotro’ bus conductor because no white lady will travel to Ghana to do this kind of job. Maybe she is using it as her project work or something. Others said that someone should tag Twene Jonas to look at this video. He has been lamenting that the system is working abroad, so what is this white lady doing here?
