Government Is Expecting To Generate GH7 Billion From E-levy To Supplement The Economy- Kojo Oppong

Member of Parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency and Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah was featured on Kessben FM’s morning programme Maakye. On the morning show, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah made a revelation which has struck a conversation currently going on.

The main topic of the show was about E-levy and how government can generate enough money to undertake developmental projects. When asked by the host, Mr Speaker on how the government is planning to get money to fund the budget, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah revealed that they are still thinking of getting the E-levy approved in Parliament.

He stated that the government need about GH145 Billion to undertake developmental projects like the Agenda 111, construction of roads among others. He revealed that the E-levy if accepted will give us GH7 Billion which will added to the money already generated to get the GH145 Billion.
