A Youth group in the ruling New Patriotic Party calling itself Youth for change has officially written to the NPP headquarters for Nana B’s resignation. They want him together with the Northern Regional Chairman of the party to hand over all their official documents.
In a press conference aired live on Joynews, the group revisited circumstances which surrounded the New Patriotic Party NPP’s Annual delegates conference. According to them, because they belong to the youth wing, they want to tackle the youth organiser called Nana B.
The group explained that Nana B violated the rules which was set to ban open campaign for potential Presidential hopefuls. They accused Nana B of openly showing support to Dr Mahmoud Bawumia at the Congress grounds.
On the part of the Northern Regional Chairman, they accused him of joining some other national executives to openly follow Dr Mahmoud Bawumia and singing praises for him.
” We’re not afraid to tackle them. They must resign from office. We want the whole world to hear that’s why we invited you (JOYNEWS) to record us.
One journalist enquired about their next line of action if Nana B refuse to leave office.
” Don’t worry. When we get there, we shall cross the bridge ” The convenor replied.
