Alex Nartey is a 9 years old physically challenged boy who lives with his parents in Ferfer near Asesewa in the Eastern region. The pastor of his church (Church of Pentecost), Pastor Justice Gyappiah visited Alex and his parents with his family after the child had not been seen in church for a while.
It was discovered that his wheelchair with which he used to go to church was spoilt. The nine years old son of the Pastor, Eugene told his father that he was going to use some money he had saved to buy a new wheelchair for Alex who happens to be his friend.
The young boy through the help of his father purchased a new wheelchair worth GHC 650 for his friend. The boy presented it to his friend as a birthday gift. The presentation was done at a district joint service in Asesewa – Odometa in the Agormanya area of the Church of Pentecost. The whole congregation was very emotional because of the touching act the young boy had done. Â
