Robbers are on the move once again and are taking what does not belong to them.
The police are on the move as well and are pursuing these individuals.
2022 has just begun with robberies all over the country.
The Ghana police in collaboration with some other security forces have taken the decision to combat these robbers and sweep them from the streets.
Today at Sowutuom school park, one of the most notorious robbery gangs were arrested by the police.
From reports, two of the suspected criminals who are in police custody are Jude Osei and Benjamin Donteng.
They invaded a head master’s office and stole several items school laptops etc.
The police were informed and stormed the area to get hold of these notorious criminals where they met series of gun fires at them.
From reports, two of the suspects are believed to be young boys between the ages of 19 to 23 and are former students of a public school in the area.
The headmaster, Twere Thomas happens to be the headmaster of this same school where the students robbed him.
From reports, they have been obsessed with stealing from the school ever since but have now joined notorious groups who have made them crawl out of their robbery shells to fully operate.
Upon the police’s arrival, they heard gunshots which forced them to retaliate and gun down two of these criminals.
The police are investigating further into the matter and are currently on the move to get hold of others involved in this.
Robbers are not giving people the necessary peace to pass through this year and it seems the police are not so cool with these things this year as well.
The usual advice which is coming from the police is that just as their bio reads on their social media platform, they are poised at making the Ghana police a world class police force.
As a result, the least they will entertain is letting their guard down in making sure this happens. Hence, all these criminals are advised to stop themselves from such practices.
