He begun by appreciating the work of the Ghana Police Service in ensuring sanity in the system. He later reacted to the move by the Police to do a post analysis of all the prophecies of Ghanaian Pastors. According to Bishop Charles Agyen Asare, this is a clear attempt by the Police to legislate prophecy. He urged the police to put an immediate stop to that move because the police do not have the necessary apparatus(be it physical or spiritual) to analyze prophecies.
“So I want to acknowledge the police administration that although they’ve done their best, they shouldn’t legislate prophecies because they don’t have what it takes to legislate prophecies”, he said.
He later referred the police to order field of life where predictions and prophecies cause fear and panic.
“Meteorological services makes prediction which causes fear and panic”, he said.
