The much awaited AFCON kicks of today in Cameroon which is the host nation in this year’s edition of the competition.
This year’s tournament promises to be one of the most competitive as it is being graced by all the countries who have made their mark in the history of the African cup of Nations.
Countries like the almighty Egypt, Cameroon Which is the host nation and would leave to stone unturn to let the trophy stay in Cameroon having won the trophy five times.
The blacks stars of Ghana were based in Qatar where they played a friendly much again Algeria and were beaten by three goals to nothing.
However ,the stars played without some of their big names so they be spared for their performance against Algeria.
They arrived in Cameroon on Saturday on a chartered flight.They black stars were clad in a black puma apparel with the Ghana football association logo beautifully embossed in it.
