Some famous celebrities who were very talented at what they did have been missing not because they couldn’t compete with new talents but because they are battling sickness. For quite sometime now, Ghanaians has lost many celebrities due to sickness and accidents. Ghana lost Bishop Bernard Nyarko and many veteran actors due to some couple of sickness but these actors and actresses names has been off the air for a while.

My team and I has compiled a list of famous celebrities who are on sick bed battling chronic sickness and needs help. These celebrities are really not dead but have somehow be forgotten from many Ghanaian households.

1 Rama Brew

Rama Brew is a veteran Ghanaian actress, TV personality and a musician. The talented actress has been off camera for a while after it was reported she has been battling some kind of chronic disease. Talented and gorgeous actress, Rama Brew was one of the best actresses back in the day. Besides acting, she did a lot of over voice for TV/Radio programs. She recently appeared on TV again to grant an interview on TV3. She admitted that, she has been battling sickness and she is now recovering. She didn’t reveal what sickness it was but it’s alleged she is battling cancer.

2 OJ Blaq

OJ Blaq is fondly remembered for his 2009 hit song “Chale Wote” which featured Captain Planet. He was also an actor who featured in popular television series, Sun City alongside many starts such as Van Vicker, Ekow Smith Asante and the late Suzzy Williams. OJ Blaq suffered a major kidney problem and was hospitalized for some months. He is quite well now thanks to one good samaritan who offered him a kidney.

3 Emmanuel Armah

Emmanuel Armah is one of the pillars and pioneers of Ghana movie industry as he featured in numerous movies. He was well known in every household due to his wonderful acting. Emmanuel has been battling stroke for a couple of years now and which has led him to be off the screens for now. We all hope he recovers as soon as possible.
