Theresa Konadu a 22-year-old woman shared her story about how her boyfriend called Peter popularly known as Scatter doesn’t take care of his children because she took his phone. Theresa met Peter when she was selling eggs, he proposed to her and she accepted it. Theresa later went to stay with him, she became pregnant but Peter told her to abort the baby because he was not ready to give birth.
Theresa did not agree with him but she decided to give birth. When she was four months pregnant, they had a misunderstanding but the boyfriend beats her and she went to stay with her mother. Peter did not send her a penny to take of herself and the baby after she gave birth. When the child was 6 months old the boyfriend came to apologize and she came back to stay with him. Unfortunately, she got pregnant again and this time too Peter told her to abort the baby. The lady told him she will never do that but will rather give birth.
They fought again and Theresa went back to her mother’s house, this time the boyfriend took good care of her but after birth, he did not send her money to circumcise the baby. Theresa went to Peter’s house and took his phone, she gave it to someone to give her GHC100 to circumcise her son. After that Peter said he will not take care of the children again because of what she did. Theresa said when she met her boyfriend he told her that did he will marry her but never that he had such behaviour.
According to Theresa, her mother advised her to refrain from her boyfriend but did not listen. When Scatter was asked about these allegations, he too said, he has stayed with the lady for four years but what the lady was saying is not true. When he met her she did not tell him that she has a child, he found it later. He went to her family with his brother and inform them about their relationship, they agreed to stay together. He found out that Theresa was pregnant but she wanted to abort the baby. But he told her not to abort the baby later she told him that she had a miscarriage.
Theresa does not do any household activities, whenever she wakes up, she will just go to her mother’s house. The man said he bought eggs for her to sell so that she can get money to buy her basic needs. Whenever she goes to her mother’s house and come back she will be insulting him. Scatter continue that he took care of her but it got to a time that she even cursed him. But one day she told him that the first child is not his child that is he didn’t take care of her . He has even informed their pastor about whatever is happening in their relationship. But Theresa insisted Scatter doesn’t give her money again because she took his phone.
