Good News: Hearts of Oak Boost Technical Team Ahead of Gold Stars Clash

Accra Hearts of Oak have had their technical bench boosted ahead of their week 12 clash against Gold Stars.

The Phobians are guests of the premier league new boys at the Duns Park in Bibiani on Sunday. Hearts of Oak have not churned out the desired performance and results despite losing just once in nine games with two outstanding matches left to clear.

The have equally exited two continental competitions in a painful manner which left the fans very agitated. The Phobians shipped in 10 goals in their last two continental games against Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco and Algeria club, Jeunesse Sportive de Saoura while they scored only two.

They however returned home to concentrate on the domestic league and have since not lost although have been boring with the results. Hearts of Oak have won three games, drawn as many as five games and lost just once to AshantiGold at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi. They have managed to claim 14 points seated 9th on the league log with two outstanding games against Asante Kotoko and Medeama to clear. There reports in the media that, head coach, Samuel Boadu was not going to be on the bench for the Phobians against Gold Stars due some misunderstanding with the top hierarchy.

Reports also had it that captain, Fatawu Mohammed had requested his name to be excluded from the squad due to unpaid salaries. News coming has it that Samuel Boadu rather left for Kumasi to mourn with a brother and has since joined the team in Bibiani for the all important clash at the Duns Park.
