Amend The Constitution To Give More Powers To Presidents To Sack Their Vice Presidents- TV Host Asks

Popular TV presenter, Nana Frimpong Ziega has earlier today asked for the amendment of the constitution of Ghana so that the Presidents can have more power to sack their Vice Presidents when they are not working to the satisfaction of the country.

Speaking on Kessben TV, Nana Frimpong Ziega cited a lot of examples in Ghana where Vice Presidents were sidelined becaus they were not active in the administration of the country at that time. He added that if those Former Presidents had much power backed by the constitution, they would have sacked their “inactive” Vice Presidents during their tenure in office.

Nana Frimpong Ziega alleged that during the tenure of the Late John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills, the Vice President, John Mahama was sidelined and was made in active in the administration of the country.
