Jamaican star, Andre Hugh Sutherland- professionally known as Popccaan has appealed strongly to the governments of Ghana and Jamaica to establish a direct flight between the two countries in a new post he shared on Twitter.

Having been to Ghana on a number of occasions to reconnect with his ancestral roots, Popcaan said there should be a direct flight from Jamaica to Ghana ostensibly to make it convenient for him and other African Americans to always come here often.
He posted;
“Happy new year everyone, to the government of Ghana and Jamaica, we need a straight flight from Jamaica to ghana!!! Make it happen, please. Thanks in advance.”

Popcaan is presently in Ghana for the umpteenth time and while having fun in Accra, things turned chaotic for him.
In the video uploaded on Twitter, there was a form confrontation between Popcaan and some bulky guys at an entertainment centre at East Legon, Accra.
We have no idea what triggered the scuffle but some sources on the internet said the guys who looked like hoodlums identified who he was and tried to rob him.
The timely intervention of the police who arrived at the scene and fired sporadically saved the day for the Jamaican superstar.
We gathered that police then arrested one of the alleged attackers, and Popcaan was escorted out in the presence of the officers who protected him into his car, where he drove away.
