Just In:Over Twenty SHS Students Were Involved In An Accident On Their Way To School

Since this year began, every Shs student has had it in their minds that sooner or later they will resume school, and as published by the GES, school resumes on January 6th for some double track students.

As serious students, many decided to leave for their various schools as soon as possible, and unfortunately, some students from Anum Secondary School couldn’t safely make it to their school because they had an accident on their way.

Listening to what the principal emergency medical technician, who’s called Issha, kpandey, the car was carrying only students going to Anum Secondary School on Wednesday. The vehicle was loaded with students who were going to Anum Secondary School and had a tyre bust” said the principal to The Pulse.

He made it clear to the media that though the accident was caused by the damaged tyre, the driver can be blamed because the driver was going at a high speed and couldn’t control the vehicle when the accident was about to happen.

Mr. Issah also said this to Joy News, describing the accident that took place. “The driver tried his best to save the situation but then could not stop because of the excessive speeding that we were told. The car somersaulted and then got mangled”.

Well, we should give glory to God because this accident didn’t cause any deaths, but more than twenty students are seriously injured and are being taken care of at the Dodowa district hospital where the accident took place. A few days ago, our president tweeted that this is a year of roads, so we should be expecting good roads by next year.

Do you think it’s the poor roads that caused this accident or the carelessness of the driver?

As we wish them a speedy recovery, let’s be careful out there. Have a good day.

As always, “we see differently”.
