Sometimes he is denied by the woodwork. About five of his shots on goal have been ricocheted off the woodwork. That is quite unlucky for him. Some say that he is letting Mbappe shine as young talent.
Messi had quite a beautiful record for himself last year. He was able to win the ballon d’or and other awards. Those were due to his presence in Barcelona. In Ligue 1, he doesn’t seem to have his mind on it. Hopefully this year, he would give his whole heart to PSG and start scoring goals as expected.
