Wike Leading G-5 Governors To Political Doom – Ohanaeze Youths

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has advised Governors Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State to end their romance with Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike.

In a statement on Friday by the National President of the group, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, he said the advice became necessary to avoid regrets.

Okwu said the two governors, who are running for political positions in their respective States, would do themselves great injustice by a candidate of another political party.

He observed that, “Governor Ugwuanyi is an asset we will need in the Senate as he has the experience needed to attract federal presence to the State.

I’m Not Mole For APC_Jandor

The PDP Governorship Candidate for Lagos State, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran (a.k.a. Jandor), says he is not a mole for APC but strongly determined to end its reign in the state.

Adediran made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

He reacted to speculations that he was planted in PDP by the APC which has been ruling Lagos State since 1999.

It is also being insinuated that Adediran, a former APC chieftain and former leader of Lagos4Lagos Movement, is close to the APC Presidential Candidate, Chief Bola Tinubu.

He told NAN that it would be illogical for him to be APC’s mole in PDP and be giving APC ‘headaches’ in his campaigns.

Former Borno military governor, Abdulmumini Aminu has said Nigerians will vote the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in 2023.

Aminu noted that the electorate were looking away from the North having been in power for long.

“Nigerians are tired of us from the North because we have dominated every area of life, particularly government”, NAN quoted.

2023 Presidency Is Battle For Soul Of Nigeria– Ezekwesili

Former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili, has said the forthcoming presidential election is a battle for the soul of Nigeria.

Ezekwesili disclosed the statement on Friday in a post via her verified Twitter handle.

She said the darkness over the nation is not yet enough for those who love power for the sake of it and acquisitions, adding that they want to darken it more.

She wrote, “You all should better know that the 2023 presidential elections, in particular, is a “Battle for the Soul of Nigeria”.

“The darkness over our Land is not yet enough for those “who love Power for the sake of Power and acquisitions”, so they want to darken it more.

Kukah Don’t Cook Me Nonsense, By Femi Adesina

Under the camouflage of ‘speaking truth to power,’ it has become a regular thing for the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Hassan Kukah, to take potshots at President Muhammadu Buhari, and the governing All Progressives Congress (APC).

When I saw the media reportage of his Christmas homily for 2022, I observed that it was in two distinct directions. The larger percentage took it from the negative: ‘Kukah blasts Buhari again; accuses him of failure to fight corruption, nepotism, and making Nigeria vulnerable.

And there was the other perspective, which was positive but less popular and commonplace: ‘Kukah commends Buhari on infrastructural development.’ It emanated from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
