GUBERNATORIAL candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya has promised free education from primary to secondary secondary if elected in the 2023 general elections.
Maidoya made the promise on Thursday during campaign flag-off in Keffi LGA of the State.
“We are going to give free qualitative education to our children to enable them to become better future leaders from primary to secondary schools.
“We have large numbers of unemployed youths and other people. My administration will create job opportunities for our teeming youth,” he promised.
Maidoya who solicited votes from all and sundry also pledged to make the state economically viable for the overall development of the state.
Speaking also, the Director General of the NNPP Gubernatorial Campaign, Barr. Innocent Lagi, assured the people of governance if NNPP gets the mandate.
Maidoya’s promise is targeted at taking the junk number of children of school age roam about aimlessly. This is truly a welcome development.
