Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the governorship candidate of the labour party, Jonathan Asake has stated that the people’s democratic party which has always had winning votes from the southern Kaduna has never zoned its ticket to southern Kaduna.
According to Jonathan Asake, the southern Kaduna has always given the people’s democratic party massive votes during elections but they never considered zoning its governoship ticket to the zone of the state. Jonathan Asake stressed that the labour party graciously zoned its governoship ticket to the southern Kaduna.
Jonathan Asake made this remark during an interactive session with members and stakeholders of the labour party in southern Kaduna where the presidential candidate of the labour party, Peter Obi was also endorsed at the meeting.
Jonathan Asake stated “the PDP that has continuously harvested the winning vote from the southern part of this state. None has zoned the ticket to the people of southern Kaduna but the labour has graciously zoned this ticket to the people of Southern Kaduna”.
Jonathan Asake made this remark during his speech between the 9th and 10th minute.
