The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic, Atiku Abubakar took his presidential campaign to the South East in Anambra state. Atiku had a different kind of campaign in the state as he had a town hall meetings with the PDP members, and religious and women leaders of the state. They asked him on his foreign policy ideology and if he’s going to fulfill his promise by handing over to an Igbo Presidency if he wins the 2023 election. They also throw a tough question to him on his plan to get the Youth involved in Government.Â
However, there was a tense moment where an Anambra PDP women leader tried to probe Atiku on the Igbo Presidency, the woman presumed to be in his forties asked Atiku if he will give the Igbos all the necessary support if they support him to win the 2023 election. Quite shocking, the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dino Melaye stood up to stop the woman from asking more questions at the Town hall event. Dino claimed that it was a Jamb question and that they are expected to ask only one question each.Â
