Felicia, a 20-year-old nursing mother, was killed by a stray rifle shot by alleged security personnel at Manso Datano in the Ashanti Region’s Amansie South Distric
According to eyewitness, Akwasi Fosu, the tragic incident occurred on Saturday at 11 a.m. during the burial of a resident who is said to have died in an attempt to escape from security personnel following an arrest in the community.
The baby of the deceased mother was severely injured by a bullet fired.
The security guard fired numerous shots of which one struck the nursing mother and her 2-year-old daughter.
She was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, but the nurses and doctors were unable to save her life.
In a social media video, the woman is surrounded by a couple of medical personnel who are doing everything they can to save the victim’s life.

Felicia, as per the report, died yesterday.
So far, no arrests have been made, but the police are looking into the matter.
The community’s enraged youth group, on the other hand, is calling for peace and justice.
