Former Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Honourable Joseph Yammin, believes there is no confidence from Ghanaians towards the Black Stars team as they journey towards Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Hon. Yammin, noted that Black Stars can only excel on the bedrock of luck and not team performance because other national teams are better prepared.
“We can’t be confident that we are going to do any better”.
“If we perform, which we are all wishing that we do probably, it’d be out of luck”.
“Because teams that we are playing with have their teams in place”.
“If you watch the Brazilians played against Ghana, the team they played Ghana with, they only took out two changes when they played Tunisia”.
“So what it means is that, they have a standing team that at any point in time, they use in playing”.
The Black Stars are paired in group H alongside, Uruguay, Portugal and South Korea.
