Some MMDCEs Receive 500 Cedis Monthly, They Have No Other Allowances – Denise Miracle Aboagye

Former Municipal Chief Executive of Akuapem North and the current Director of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development at the office of the president, Denise Miracle Aboagye has said that some of the MMDCEs are receiving as low as five hundred Ghana cedis monthly.

Speaking this morning on TV3 newday programme with Johnnie Hudges, Miracle Aboagye said the president’s plan to cut 30 per cent of the salaries of his appointees are for the collective good of the Ghanaian, indicating that it was purely a sacrificial work by the government.

During a heated exchange between the New Patriotic Party communicator and the host of the New Day program, Denise Miracle Aboagye stated categorically that some of the MMDCEs as of today still receive as low as 500 cedis, which government will still take 30 per cent from it.

Denise Miracle Aboagye was very unhappy with series of statements by Johnnie Hudges on the show. He said since May this year, no government appointee have even received allowance, all for the collective good of the Ghanaian people.
