Women, as they say, can be their own worst enemies, and while I initially believed this was just , I’ve grown to understand the meaning of the word. So, as a lass, there are a few things to consider when it comes to relationships, one of which is how close you should let your closest friend come to your boyfriend.
I’m sure we all have our ways of dealing with this, but in all honesty, I believe that allowing your BFF to grow too close to your guy is a ticking time bomb!
I don’t believe in allowing your best friend to be around your boyfriend because it starts with an introduction, then she tags along on most dates, then your boyfriend takes her number in case he calls and you don’t answer, then he checks up on her or vice versa, and then the tables turn.
Here are reasons why I believe it’s preferable to keep your best friend apart from your lover.
Men can’t go a day without considering the nature of women and their beauty. Even if she isn’t his girlfriend, lover, or wife, a man can have feelings for a woman. When your partner spends too much time with your BFF, it’s the same situation.
Keep in mind that if she’s single, she could look just like you did when you were single, and she could be the woman he fell in love with.
So, this is your best friend; you’re close, you like the same things, you resent the same things, and you frequent the same locations… In a nutshell, this is your identical twin (not entirely though). So, what makes you believe he won’t enjoy what he liked about you in her? What isn’t there to like about her? Next thing you know, they’re getting along better than you… Don’t pretend you weren’t forewarned.
She’ll be the one he turns to when you’re having problems.
We’ve all been there. If you fight with your boyfriend, he will run to your best friend to tell her about your difficulties, and in the process, he will become closer to her and learn to trust her because she will sit down and listen. This may cause your lover to notice attributes in her that you lack, and believe me when I say that this is the beginning of the end of your wonderful relationship!
If your best friend is more attractive than you.
Don’t roll your eyes; this is one of the most common issues that women face when dealing with their best friends while dating. Let’s face it, a man is readily enticed by a woman who is attractive or attractive.
Come on, which male would chase down an unattractive woman? Looks come first, followed by personality, before the guy decides whether the woman is worth dating. So, simply because she’s your best friend, what gives you the impression that he won’t be smitten by her beauty? It’s preferable to keep her at a distance.
Also, if the breakup was too painful, or if he’s a nasty person, he might date your best friend to get even with you, and nothing is more terrible than seeing your BFF with your ex-boyfriend. We don’t want you to take your life.
