The Only African Country That Jesus Has Ever Visited, Stayed For 3 Years According To The Bible

It’s self-evident that if you tell someone that Jesus Christ visited Africa during his time on this planet, they’ll tell you it’s not true.

This is because they are well aware that Africa is not mentioned in the Bible. Thank God the country he visited didn’t change its name.

According to the Bible, baby Jesus and his parents sought safety in Egypt, a North African country.

In the New Testament, it is stated that Both gospels agree that Jesus was born in Bethlehem and later migrated to Nazareth with his family.

The story of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus fleeing to Egypt to avoid Herod the Great’s massacre of the infant boys at Bethlehem is told in Matthew’s Gospel.

2:13

“Take the tiny child and his mother and flee to Egypt. Until I send thee word, Herod will pursue the tiny boy to destroy him.”

They stayed in Egypt for three years, until Joseph had a dream that it was safe to return to Israel following Herod’s death.

2:19-23

When Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in Egypt in a dream and told him, “Get up, take the child and his mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who were seeking the kid’s life have perished.” Then Joseph rose, grabbed the infant and his mother, and journeyed to Israel.
