Black Stars Midfielder Kudus Mohammed Scores Second Goal In 2022/23 UEFA Champions League

Kudus Mohammed has scored his second-ever UEFA Champions League goal against Liverpool. The Black Stars midfielder has been in a blistering form for Ajax in both domestic and continental competitions.

Ajax played guest to Liverpool in tonight’s UEFA Champions League at Anfield. He was maintained as the lead man for Ajax, a position he has been made to play in recent matches.

Kudus Mohammed did not disappoint as he pulled parity for Ajax in the first half. Egyptian magician Mohammed Salah opened the scores for Liverpool in the 17th minutes, but that did not enjoy ample time as fellow African Kudus Mohammed brought Ajax to level pegging. Ten minutes after Liverpool had taken the lead, Kudus Mohammed scored to make the score a goal apiece.

First half ended 1 – 1 and that was a good first half outcome for Ajax as they played away.

The goal became Kudus Mohammed’s second in UEFA Champions League. Kudus Mohammed has found the back of the net in Ajax last four games across all competitions. He scored against Cambuur, Rangers, Hareenven and Liverpool.
