Just In : No Premier League For This Weekend

I now agree that most of the news that has been coming out since the start of 2020 hasn’t been really good, just like the unexpected death of Queen Elizabeth II. Everyone around the world is showing respect, honour, and condolences to the Royal family, especially the British. We all know that the English Premier League is based in the UK, which means they will definitely show their respect in a way that won’t look disrespectful.

When the news broke out yesterday at 6:30pm(UK time) that the Queen had passed away, some matches in the UK were postponed due to the shock, but others still took place. The Europa League took place, but there was a minute of silence to honour and respect the Queen in literally all the UEL that took place yesterday.

The EFL released a statement making it known that they’ve postponed their matches due to the fallen London bridge, but the Premier League was muted until today due to some considerations. As we all expected, the English Premier League has released a statement stating that the EPL won’t take place this weekend and on Monday until the next weekend to mourn, respect, and honour the Queen. Do you think this decision by the EPL is the best for this situation?

Many football fans and lovers have shown their respect, the legendary Mourinho.

“I am not a foreigner in Britain; it is my home, my family’s home, we’ve lived there for many years.

” She was a wonderful figure. I don’t know anyone who didn’t have respect for her. Do you believe the postponement of the EPL will have an impact on the football calendar for this year and the upcoming World Cup?
