Popular and Investigative Journalist Mannaseh Azure Awuni has commented that, each day President Akufo-Addo gives reasons to former President John Dramani Mahama to appoint his Ministers before 2025.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, 7th September 2022, he wrote;
“Each day, Akufo-Addo gives John Mahama reasons to start appointing his ministers now before January 7, 2025.”
Mannaseh Azure comments comes in wake of Aisha Huang, a Chinese galamsey Kingpin who has been re-arrested for engaging in illegal mining activities. Aisha was deported back to China in 2019 but still managed to sneak back to Ghana. Evidence has emerged that, she has a Ghana Card which was issued to her in February 2022.
Following her arrest, many Ghanaians have bash out the security systems in Ghana. Some have questioned how she managed to sneak back without being noticed. Others have blamed President Akufo-Addo for not persecuting her the first time she was caught.
