A video and pictures of Ghana’s Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif and President of Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku, have gone viral about how the duo celebrated when Black Galaxies defeated Nigeria to book a spot in next year’s Africa Nations Championship, Chan.
In the video and pictures, the officials were spotted in a room and started jubilating when Black Galaxies qualified ahead of the Super Eagles B. Following the qualification, President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku and Mustapha Ussif stood up and they hugged to show elation over the news.
That was a frenzy moment as Ghana had squeezed through penalty kicks to make it to the continental showpiece.
Black Galaxies of Ghana beat Nigeria by two unanswered goals in the first leg at the Cape Coast Stadium, of which the second leg was anticipated to be a good occasion for the Ghanaians.
Out of the blue, Black Galaxies conceded two late goals after holding their counterparts in the first half of the reverse fixture.
A winner had to be decided via spot kicks which Gladson Awako and his teammates managed to covert all with Nigeria missing one.
