With just a little over 80 days until the opening ceremony of the World Cup in Qatar this November, images have been flying on social media as the Arab country prepares to host the world.
In the past, images of African Stars Sadio Mane, Andre Onana have all been spotted in cities of Qatar.
The latest image spotted in the city of Qatar is that of Ghana’s national team captain, Andre Dede Ayew. The player has been with Ghana in 2 world cups (2010 and 2014) and will be looking to make his third appearance at the world stage in November.
Already familiar with the terrain as he plays for one of the top clubs in the Qatar League, Dede Ayew will be hoping to lead Ghana to glory or even make it out of the group stages into the knockout stages.
Ghana will face Portugal in the first game of the tournament. The team is also joined in their group by Uruguay and South Korea.Â
