The fact that Chelsea Football Club had a lot of chances against Tottenham Hotspurs and did not score as many as they could have done, you feel that if they had a centre forward up top that they probably would have scored more goals.
It is surprising for a team that has spent as much as they have over the years. But Thomas Tuchel will be thinking about his own team and the fact that he would like a striker. So far so good, The Blues have signed Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Carney Chukwuemeka, but signing a top 9 could be a big plus.
If he can get Wesley Fofana in his squad – he is a top player and has years ahead of him, so I can see why they are going for that one. But I guess the more immediate concern is that centre forward spot for the club.
