Former President has been in opposition for about 6 years now but his name still lingers in the minds of many. Since he partnered the late John Atta Mills to win the 2012 elections, the man from Bole has won the hearts of many Ghanaians. Even his political critics assume he is a great communicator. John Mahama has lost the last 2 elections to President Nana Akufo-Addo.
Ace Broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwah has been trending since last week after he hit hard at the government for failing to improve on the living conditions of Ghanaians despite the numerous promises made. Government communicators have opposed the comments of KKD saying that he is jealous and bitter because he has been left out.
This however hasn’t deterred KKD from continuing with his comments asking for good leadership. KKD was in the studios of Joy News for the AM Show today, Wednesday, August 24, 2022. According to KKD, Ghanaians have not been fair to John Mahama because John didn’t make much promises and yet did his part to develop Ghana. He juxtaposed this to the many promises made by President Akufo-Addo which he termed as near failure.
KKD explained that it was the communicators of the NDC and John Mahama who failed Ghanaians because they couldn’t effectively communicate what the former president was doing. He noted that from the way things are going he agrees with those who say that Akufo-Addo’s government has made John Mahama look like an angel.
This is not the first time KKD is praising John Mahama. In an interview with Captain Smart on Monday he mentioned that John Mahama is his brother. Importantly, he mentioned that he cannot criticize John Mahama because he was out of office and so the best he can do is to call on the current government to account for their stewardship.
