Looking Back, I Regret My Action And I Feel I Could Have Done Better – KKD Reveals

King Kwasi Kyei Darkwah has been on the lips of many in the past week. KKD as he is popularly called is an entertainer and entrepreneur. He became a topic of discussion this week after he made some comments about politicians. He first lambasted Ken Ofori Atta and his Databank for feeding on ordinary Ghanaians. He noted that the children of rich people blame poor ones without knowing that their parents stole from the state.

Since those comments, KKD has been receiving media invitations. Today, Sunday, August 21, 2022 on TV3’s A Father’s Day Out, KKD shared some of his life experiences. According to him at one point his wife wanted to go to England and seek greener pastures. He explained that he tried convincing her not to but in the end she managed to win and left. This created distance barrier between them.

At 31 years KKD mentioned that he became the General Manager of Mega Star Limited where he managed Amakye Dede, George Darko, Nana Tuffuor, Pat Thomas, Tagoe Sisters, Jewel Ackah etc. The wife was in England with his kids and he out of love had to sometimes go visit them over the weekend. With frustration setting in, KKD resigned from Mega Star Limited, left all the privileges to go and start life all over.

“I left all to go and start life all over again in England. Looking back, it was a big mistake. But life is a meandering journey. You have to take the lessons with the blessings. Later I had to divorce my wife” KKD said. KKD felt there is more to marriage than distance.

According to KKD it was a big mistake that he made by leaving everything he had worked for just to pursue love. He noted that he wished he could turn the time around but counted it all joy too that he had learnt from his lessons and become a better person.
