MP Goes On Site With Excavators To Cut Sod And Start Project On Same Day After Pressure From Chief

Minister and member of parliament, John Ampodua Kumah today surprised his constituents after he finally granted them their long awaited desire to build an inland port.

Today, the Chiefs, elders and people of Boankra the constituency gathered to witness the commencement of work on the construction of the Boankra Inland Port.

The work on the construction of the Port has therefore began. The contractor has assured that he will work studiously with his team to deliver the proposed Boankra Inland port to Ejisu, Asanteman and Ghana as a whole within the next two years.

I his address, the member of parliament used the opportunity to thank H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, Transport Minister, Hon. Kweku Ofori Asiamah and all stakeholders who have been pivotal in bringing the dream this far in our bid to ensure that the Boankra Inland Port is brought to life.

“As I have indicated on several platforms, when it comes to the construction of the Boankra Inland Port, I am a die-hard Activist and will not rest until this port is built to create jobs and opportunities for Ghanaians” he added
