Ghana Football Association General Secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo, has spoken against the association’s acknowledge of injunction on the Division One play-off’s for premier league replacement of AshGold’s position.
Lawyer Addo, has shot down any idea of Ebusua Dwarfs injunction on the playoff’s which commences tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“I don’t know about it. I can’t comment on what I don’t know”, he stated.
“We start tomorrow, I only have to wish all the three teams the very best of luck and may the best team qualify to join their colleagues in the BetPawa Premier League”, he noted.
“Of course, head-to-head regulation counts.
We’re basically using the division one regulation so all the teams are conversant with it.
We did the draw here, all the three teams came, they picked.
We have given the fixtures out already”, he concluded.
Dwarfs, Liberty Professionals and Tamale City will play against each other for BetPawa Premier League.
The scandalous outcome of AshGold-Inter Allies game in the GPL led to demotion of both teams to lower divisions respectively, hence a call for replacement.
