News coming in indicate that a Police Officer and a final year Students of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have allegedly ganged raped a female student.
According to the report, the incident happened a week ago at Bomso in the Ashanti region. The Police Officer and the other accomplice are in Police Custody.
The report noted that, the final year student asked the lady to pull off her clothes but as she was trying to be reluctant, the Police Officer pulled a gun on the young Lady, the fear of which led her to loosen up for the Officer and his accomplice to rape her.
The incident according to the report was reported to the University Authorities and the two are currently in police custody.
According to a report sighted on 3news.com “the two suspects lured the victim into an off-campus hostel at Bomso and allegedly pounced on her, raped her in turns and video-recorded the whole process.”
The incident occurred exactly a week ago on Wednesday, 29th July 2022. The Police officer was identified as Frank Adu Poku. But the name of the final year students has been withheld.
Frank Adu Poku is said to be currently at Apiadu Police Station while the accomplice student was also kept in custody at KNUST Police.
