The finance Minister did not say a word about the $200m taken for the national Cathedral – Okudzeto.

Okudzeto Ablakwa is the member of parliament for North Tongu. He has expressed his displeasure about the finance minister’s silence on the 200 million dollars taken from the Consolidated fund to build the national cathedral.

The finance minister appeared before parliament to present the mid year budget review. In his presentation, a lot of issues were addressed. One key thing that was not mentioned was the funding of the national cathedral. Okudzeto Ablakwa was not happy about the omission of the Cathedral from the mid year review. He said he is shocked the finance minister did not say a word about the “unconstitutional withdrawal” of money from the consolidated Fund to build the Cathedral.
